May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to another fabulous stamp of the month blog hop. Whether you have come from Jessica's blog or this is your first stop, get ready for some great ideas for using the May stamp of the month; "Cherish the Moment" a set of 8 stamps.

This versatile set is a must have for scrapbookers and stampers alike! The card I made is just an example of how great this set would be to have on hand. Make up a few cards like this and then just mark the sentiment as needed!  For scrapbooking, this set would be great for journaling prompts for so many different occasions.

I used the "Sweet Home" paper pack for my card. Embellishments are Buttercup ribbon, Just Blooms flowers and "Booksmart" Dimensional Elements.

Now hop along to Lori's blog to see her beautiful artwork.  Continue through the complete circle, because you won't want to miss any of these wonderful projects. Don't forget this stamp set is only available until the end of May so be sure to order yours today!

Heart 2 Heart Challenge #3

This week's challenge on H2H is a sketch. Perfect timing as I have a lot of cards to get made. Here is my take on the sketch....

Stamp set used was Cupcake Sprinkles. Colors are Blush, Chocolate and Sweet Leaf.
B&T paper is from...(shhh, don't tell) the new Summer Idea Book's Creative Basics pack.
It's hard to tell from the picture but, there is a lot of glitz and dimension to this card. The circle is popped and the cupcake has liquid glass on the sprinkles. There is also prisma glitter around the scalloped circle and on the sentiment.

Heart 2 Heart Challenge #2

Wow...another Monday has already come and gone, so that means time for another challenge. This week it is a 1/2/3 challenge. Here are the requirements:

*Use 1 stamped image (not 1 set, but 1 image)
*Use 2 different patterned papers
*Use 3 embellishments - these can be 3 of the same thing or 3 different things

I made a card again this week, but decided to use some older products. I find making cards is a great way to use up scraps. My 1 stamped image is from "Nature's Vein" (retired). Patterned papers are B&T from "Abundance" (retired) and the other I made myself by dry embossing, sanding and chalking. Embellishments are waxy flax, eyelets and chalk.

New CTMH Challenge Blog

Do you love Close To My Heart products? Are you looking for inspiration or a new challenge? Yes? Then you need to visit Heart 2 Heart Challenges! This new site will be posting a new challenge featuring Close To My Heart products every Monday.

This week is the first challenge and they are offering a nice prize package to go to one lucky participant! The details on how to participate are posted on the site.

The challenge for this week is to use Chocolate, Sunflower and Sweet Leaf. I chose to make a card based on the "On the Ball" pattern from "Wishes". The stamp sets used were, "Butterfly Kiss", "Intrinsic Backgrounds" and "State of Mind".
