July Stamp of the Month Blog Hop
Welcome to the July Stamp of the Month blog hop. This month we are showcasing "Life is Wonderful" a set of 8 stamps and have about 50 consultants participating for lots of inspiration! If you are coming from Lauren's blog, you are on the right track. It's okay if you are starting here; just be sure to complete the circle so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects my fellow consultants have created.
The card I made this month uses B&T paper from the Seaside paper pack. I love the rustic feel of this paper and I think it could be used in so many types of projects. I masked the Always Remember stamp to create the top panel. For the bottom panel I stamped the frame on Colonial White cardstock, rounded and cut slits in the corners, then inserted one of the Jackson "Picture My Life" cards. I finished it off with hemp and Glacier twine.

June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop
Welcome to the June Stamp of the Month blog hop. This month we are showcasing "Ice Cream Dream" a set of 7 stamps and have about 50 consultants participating for lots of inspiration! If you are coming from Angela's blog, you are on the right track. It's okay if you are starting here; just be sure to complete the circle so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects my fellow consultants have created.
It is almost the end of the school year and a very busy time so I wanted to do a card that didn't require a lot of planning.
The size of the card I made is 8 x 3 1/2 inches. It is a clean and simple card that was quick to make. Since the card base is only a single piece of cardstock, I decided to dress it up a bit by embossing a frame around it. This was done using CTMH's score board. I used colored pencils to color the images rather than markers so that I didn't have to worry about bleed through; and covered each with liquid glass. The sentiment on the outside is the stamp from the set which I just masked to use each word separately. Inside I put another stamped image with a bite out just for fun. The sentiment was stamped using an alphabet set.

For some reason when I looked at this stamp set the first thing that came to mind was a quilt. (I know crazy right!) So I decided to make a card using the Log Cabin pattern from "Originals". I random stamped the various circles using the colors are from the "Brushed" color palette. The Cranberry cardstock was embossed with the new Vine embossing folder found in the Seasonal Supplement.

This is the card I made this month. It is made from one of the cards and paper piece sets of the Pathfinding card kit. Can you guess which one?
While I liked the designs of the cards in the kit, I really did not want to make more than one of each. So, I challenged myself to redesign the others using the same cut pieces of paper but just changing the stamp sets. It was easier than I expected. I will post the rest of my cards in a few days.

This was an easy and quick card to make and I'm happy with the results. I used a "Designer Creations slate paper bag" for my envelope and dressed it up with a band that hints of what's inside. The card was made using "Thistle" cardstock (what a beautiful new color!) and B&T from the "Scaredy Cat" paper pack; just two of the beautiful papers in our new Annual Inspirations Idea Book.

I have been working on cleaning and organizing my scraproom this month; so I decided to make a card using my scraps. I just finished using the bright and cheery "Jubilee" paper packet so, that is where my color scheme came from.
I had several pieces of cardstock that had been embossed which I cut into one inch squares to make the background. The letters were stamped and then colored with pencils.
The inside was decorated with some more scraps. The sentiment was stamped with the lower case letters from the set and put on a spring so it would pop up when the card is opened.
