A New Year Begins!

It's the start of a new year and it is full of new opportunities! I hope one of them for you is the opportunity to create some beautiful paper crafts! If that is the case, then you will want to be sure to come back at the first of the month to view the Close to my Heart Stamp of the Month blog hop. This month we are featuring "Cross-Stitch Wishes"; a set of 13 stamps. So, sit back, relax and enjoy all the beautiful artwork you are about to see.

Whether you have come from Jen's blog or are just starting here, be sure to make the complete circle. You're in for some incredible inspiration!

This month I have made a 6 x 6 card using the Log Cabin pattern from Originals. The B&T paper is from the "Babycakes" paper pack.  I also used CTMH's ruler as a guide for the faux stitching. What a great tool!

December's Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to December's Stamp of the Month blog hop! This month we are showcasing "Special Care" a set of  6 stamps. If you are coming from Dawn's blog, you are on the right track. It's okay if you are starting here; just be sure to complete the circle so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects my fellow consultants have created.

When I first saw this set I immediately thought babies, so I decided to make a gift/keepsake box. I used the "Babycakes" paper packet and cut the box on my Cricut using the "Artiste" cartridge.

To make the box sturdy, I used the zip strips on the top and bottom.

I also random stamped a lining for the bottom of the box.

Now hop along to Nancy's blog to enjoy more great artwork. If you get lost along the way, you can find the full list of bloggers here.  Don't forget this set will only be available for the month of December. Contact your consultant or go here to order yours today!
