Heart 2 Heart Challenge #3

This week's challenge on H2H is a sketch. Perfect timing as I have a lot of cards to get made. Here is my take on the sketch....

Stamp set used was Cupcake Sprinkles. Colors are Blush, Chocolate and Sweet Leaf.
B&T paper is from...(shhh, don't tell) the new Summer Idea Book's Creative Basics pack.
It's hard to tell from the picture but, there is a lot of glitz and dimension to this card. The circle is popped and the cupcake has liquid glass on the sprinkles. There is also prisma glitter around the scalloped circle and on the sentiment.

Heart 2 Heart Challenge #2

Wow...another Monday has already come and gone, so that means time for another challenge. This week it is a 1/2/3 challenge. Here are the requirements:

*Use 1 stamped image (not 1 set, but 1 image)
*Use 2 different patterned papers
*Use 3 embellishments - these can be 3 of the same thing or 3 different things

I made a card again this week, but decided to use some older products. I find making cards is a great way to use up scraps. My 1 stamped image is from "Nature's Vein" (retired). Patterned papers are B&T from "Abundance" (retired) and the other I made myself by dry embossing, sanding and chalking. Embellishments are waxy flax, eyelets and chalk.

April's Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome! I am so glad you are joining us for this month's blog hop. We are featuring "Flower Pot" a set of 16 stamps. Whether you have just started here, or have come from Terrie's blog, make sure to complete the circle so you don't miss anything. If you get lost along the way you can refer to the list in my previous post.

Now, make yourself comfortable and enjoy all the beautiful artwork you are about to see! When you are done here be sure to hop over to Jamia's blog to see what she has created for you.

This month I chose to make a journal. I started with a small spiral notebook (5.5" x 4.25"). The cover is Heavenly Blue CS which I stamped using "Intrinsic Backgrounds". The window and flower box were stamped twice; one of which I cut out and attached the vellum "window" to. That was popped up with foam squares. The inside cover was printed and then I stamped the flowers on it. The little tag, which is my bookmark, was stamped with Versamark and chalked. Click on the picture below for some additional views.

Here is a quick thank you card I also made using this stamp set.

Unscripted Sketches #48

Spring fever has set in and thus the lack of posts lately. The weather has been just gorgeous and it has been so nice to open the house up and let the fresh air in! I have lots of spring cleaning to get done both inside and out, but hope to squeeze in some creative time.

Tonight, I did a layout based on this week's Unscripted Sketches #48. I used CTMH's "Tinkerin" paper pack and stickease. The handsome young man is my grandson, Matthew.

Unscripted Sketches #45

Today's card was made using CTMH's stamp set "Treasure Life". It is based on Unscripted Sketches #45. I used textured cardstock for my base. On the right side I did the leaves with Versamark and chalk. Then I overstamped the sentiment with Olive ink. The left side was stamped using Olive, Sorbet and Cre'me Brulee ink and then I painted over it with pearl paint to give it a watercolor effect. I added the ribbon and chipboard buckle and popped it with foam squares. All supplies available from CTMH.
Thanks for looking. Hope you have a great weekend!
