August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Wow, I can't believe August is already upon us! The summer is certainly flying by!
I am so glad you could join me for this month's blog hop.  For August, the set is called "Baroque Borders" and is a set of 5 stamps. If you are coming from Dawn's blog, you are on the right track. Here is the card I made this month:

I used B&T paper from the Florentine paper pack which is still available in the new Idea Book. The card base is Colonial White which I random stamped in second generation Creme Brulee. I also used one of the larger stamps to do some tone on tone stamping inside of the B&T. The front panel was stamped in Olive and Twilight and tied with some tinted Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon. The sentiment stamps are from "A Little Thanks".

The Party's Over....

Wow, I can't believe that Convention has come to a close. What an amazing, information packed, fun filled three days it was! It is always so inspiring to be surrounded by so many talented and creative people. Close to my Heart is introducing some amazing new products, new on trend colors, and beautiful new papers. My two favorite new products are the new "Artiste" Cricut cartridge and the new alcohol markers. I can't wait to play with these and to share them with all of you.

Amazing New Products

Day one at convention did not disappoint! You could feel the excitement in the air. New products and programs were introduced during entertaining skits with a Dallas twist.
And, of course the highlight of the day was the debut of the new Idea Book!

Close to my Heart Convention

After a bright and early start, I've arrived in Dallas for convention. Will be heading out shortly to explore the hotel and go to registration. Team meeting will be later this evening. I hope we get some hints of some of the exciting news we will be hearing in the next few days. Keep watching for more updates.

Wow, can you believe it is time for a new stamp of the month blog hop? May certainly went by quickly!  For June, we are showcasing "Life is Tweet" a set of 15 stamps. I used B&T paper from the Dotty for you paper pack. Colors are Sunset, Colonial White and Chocolate. The window for the front sentiment was cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.

This month I have three projects to show you; two cards and a pin. The first card is one of those cards that comes together in your head better than in real life. Come on, admit it; you've made some like that too. LOL!

The second one is very simple, but I like it much better. A case of less is more.
