December SOTM Blog Hop

WOW....where did November go? I can't believe that a new month is beginning and with that comes a new stamp of the month blog hop. This month we are showcasing "Amore" a set of 13 stamps. If you are coming from Jill's blog, you are on the right track. This month I made a 6 x 6 card featuring the "Magnifique" paper pack. I love the combination of blues and brown that are in these papers.

This is another card I made using this stamp set. I used some older products for this one, but wanted to show it because I used different stamps from the set.

November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Happy Halloween and welcome to the November Stamp of the Month blog hop! It doesn't matter whether you have come from Lori's blog or you're just starting here, there will be no tricks; just treats coming your way.
There are over 60 Close to my Heart consultants participating in this month's hop. We are featuring "A Little Thanks", a set of 16 stamps. This is a must have set for anyone who needs to make thank you cards!

I have two cards to show you this month. The first is made with papers from the "Olivia" paper packet. It also features our new Shimmer brads and another new stamp set "Thanksgiving". (Click on the picture to view larger.)

The second card uses an older paper packet, "Caboodle". I wanted to include this just to show how versatile this stamp set is.

October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi, and welcome to the October stamp of the month blog hop. I'm sure you will be happy that you have joined us this month. Whether you have come from Sarita's blog or are just starting here, you are in for a treat. This month we are featuring "Share the Magic" a set of 12 stamps. There are around 70 very talented Close to my Heart consultants ready to show you how magical this stamp set is. Be sure to make the complete circle; you won't want to miss any of it.

The card I made is a 7 x 5 format. Patterned paper is from the "Jingles" pack. This is one of those cards where I wish you could see and touch it. There is a lot of texture on it. Santa has a flocked beard, hair and even eyebrows. I used liquid glass on his shoes and belt; and liquid applique on the trim of his suit. Of course, it wouldn't be magical without the addition of lots of glitter; both inside and out.

September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi, and welcome to the September stamp of the month blog hop. I'm so happy you have joined us this month. Whether you have come from Dawn's blog or are just starting here, you are in for a journey filled with inspiration. We are featuring "Thriller" a set of 9 stamps. There are almost 70 very talented Close to my Heart consultants ready to show you how "creepy" this stamp set is. Be sure to make the complete circle; you won't want to miss any of it.

I have to admit, I struggled with this stamp set and I'm not really sure why. Maybe I just can't wrap my head around the idea that fall is around the corner. Oh well, it's coming ready or not and so is my crazy card. Beware it might be scary!!! LOL!

The card is a 6 x 6 format. Patterned paper is from the new "Hooligans" pack. The black cardstock was stamped with versamark and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder mixed with prisma glitter. I stamped trick or treat on the ribbon and added the new Licorice opaques gems. The sentiment and the skull were heat embossed with black EP. Then I sponged the colors around it.
